Mapsource - Distance between Waypoints

There is a yellow ruler in the tool bar. Click on it, then click on the 1st waypoint, then make your way to the next one. Watch the bottom of the screen for the distance while you are clicking
This is good for short distances but I don't know how to do long ones.

Create a route using your waypoints. Then double-click on the route to open the "Route Properties" window. Click on the "Directions" tab and you should see the route in detail, including the distance of each leg of the route, and the cumulative distance. You can easily calculate the distance between waypoints by using the cumulative distance information.

I made a route and it was 8 mi to my first way point and then 11 mi to my second so they were 3 mi apart. Thanks, great to know.

WOW, works Great. Thanks a bunch. I was even tempted to buy Streets and Trips but this is just what I need to figure gas fillup points. Critical on a bike if your getting about 150 miles between fillups.
