Thank you for my freedoms

Nice poems. It is always odd to me that every year I have to explain to my bosses when to put the flag at half mast and when to raise it back to the top of the mast on Memorial Day; half mast first thing in the morning and back to the top at noon.

Memorial Day

Today is not just a day off from work! Today is an opportunity to remember those who gave their lives to ensure the freedom and liberty of being a United States citizen was won and preserved. Sure, maybe not on our soil, but think of the original begining of our great country and many did die on our soil for a fantastic dream. Take a moment of your time this afternoon to honor those Veterans - those Heros!
