Does anyone know when the Garmin update 2011.10 will come out for the nuvi 885t?

So the answer is "Wait until around May 6th." Not necessarily what you wanted to hear, but at least you have company. Note that two POI Factory members have gotten 2011.10 on their 8xx series nuvi but no one can explain how that happened.

There's no problem with discontinued models getting new map updates, new firmware, voice updates, etc. Othewise, I wouldn't have 2011.10 with the new Jill TTS voice on my discontinued nuvi 750.

I keep checking daily for my 880 and still no updates, I guess I will wait and see what happens on May 6th, if not, Garmin will definitely get a call from me..

885T map update

I received a message on my screen just two days ago stating that my maps were outdated and I should contact Garmin to purchase an updated version; So I guess the update is ready????

Not as of this morning...at least for my nuvi 855.
