Garmin 1300 - adding icons and sound files

New to the GPS scene but enjoying the poi files that I have downloaded into my Garmin 1300. My question is how do I make the icons appear on my map and how do I load the sound files?

Press the "plus" icon to make your icons appear. The default height is too high to see them at first.

Once you download the icons

Once you download the icons or bmp file and name them the same as the csv or gpx except for the extensions.You will need to zoom in close to see the icons on the map.

The sound files for your unit will have to be wav files.The 1300 does not have the ability to play mp3's .See http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25721 and it will cover the steps.

I haven't done sound files

I haven't done sound files with my 770 but it does do MP3 so I am going to give it a shot.
