Has anyone use the Bluetooth for a phone not listed on the the Garmin Site. I am thinking about buy a new GPS and need to find out if my phone will work.
Test In A Store
Its been suggested several times to bring your phone to a brick and mortar store and actually try to pair your phone to the demo units. Stores like Best Buy will usually let you try to connect.
I think its well known that the phone/GPS compatibility chart on Garmin's website is way behind.

I have the BB Curve 8330 (VZW). It is not on the list but it works perfectly per the 8320 specs.

I have a samsung A640 about 4 years old. I got a response from Garmin support. They indicated that it most likely will work.

I use my cheapy Nokia AT&T
I use my cheapy Nokia AT&T blue tooth phone connected to a Garmin 1390T all the time. Not the BEST hands free device but it does work.
