TourGuide Question

I have done several searches both on this forum and Internet wide including Gary's awesome site but there is something I don't really get about creating TourGuide files. I am for some reason, really having a hard time getting my head around this.

Say, for instance, I want to use the Covered Bridges POI so that I will have a radius alert of 2 miles utilizing a TourGuide file. I understand the naming convention of case sensitive TourGuide.

First off, I load all of my files from a Custom POI folder using POI Loader.

I have the folders set up as: *Note: I had to go back and add the (Folder)statement since my indents didn't come through when posted.

Custom POI
Subfolders for Food, Attractions, etc., with .bmps and mp3s matching the .gpx or .csv file names.

my question is this:
Do I make a folder for TourGuides (I will have more then one TourGuide) in which case it would look like:

Custom POI
Food (Folder)
Attractions (Folder)
Tourguides (Folder)
TourGuide First.gpx
TourGuide First.bmp
TourGuide First.mp3
TourGuide Second.gpx
TourGuide Second.bmp
TourGuide Second.mp3
OR

Custom POI (Folder)
Food (Folder)
Attractions (Folder)
Tourguides (Folder)
Tourguide First (Folder)
TourGuide First.gpx
TourGuide First.bmp
TourGuide First.mp3
Tourguide Second (Folder)
TourGuide Second.gpx
TourGuide Second.bmp
TourGuide Second.mp3
OR

Custom POI (Folder)
Food (Folder)
Attractions (Folder)
Tourguides (Folder)
TourGuide First.gpx
TourGuide First/Data (Folder)
TourGuide First.bmp

TourGuide Second/Data (Folder)

OR Can it just be simple like:
Custom POI (Folder)
Food (Folder)
Attractions (Folder)
Tourguide First.gpx
TourGuide First.bmp
TourGuide First.mp3
TourGuide Second.gpx Etc. ???

I hope that this question has not left anyone as confused as I seem to be. Any help would be appreciated

See http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25721 it will show you two ways to do it.Putting TourGuide in the file name is what you want.For any custom poi file no matter what subfolder.If you want to stick them all of them in one folder call TourGuide that is ok too.I prefer categories(subfolders).More organized.

You will find it hard to read names of your poi when placing TourGuide at beginning of the file name.

Example
TourGuide Best thing I ever ate.csv
Better to name it
Best thing I ever ate TourGuide.csv

2nd
Garmin units list POIs by the way you store them in cumputer folders.

MyPOIs (main folder)
Kmart.csv
Starbucks.csv
Walmart.csv

Attractions (sub-folder
Off beat tourist TourGuide.csv
Virginia Beach Attractions.csv
Washington DC Attractions Tourguide.csv

Food (sub-folder)
$40 a day TourGuide.csv
Best thing I Ever Ate TourGuide.csv
Throwdown with Bobby Flay TourGuide.csv
Wendy's.csv

Garmin will list them in this order, notice the view order has changed.

Attractions (Group) click and get
Off beat tourist TourGuide
Virginia Beach Attractions
Washington DC Attractions Tourguide

Food (Group) click and get
$40 a day TourGuide
Best thing I Ever Ate TourGuide
Throwdown with Bobby Flay TourGuide
Wendy's

Kmart (no group)

Starbucks (no group)

Walmart (no group)

Thanks for your help. As usual, I tend to overthink and overcomplicate things. Thanks for the link my searches missed that one because I was concentrating on TourGuide.

Hey, you guys are so good that you answered my TourGuide question before I could even ask it. Solved my problem by just reading this thread, following the links, and presto exclaim problem solved.
