bing map and streets n trips

Hello all,

I noticed that when I go to Bing maps I can send my found address and other data to my GPS however if streets and trips launches Bing Maps I can's send.

Im hoping that there will be a patch to S n T so that it passes the data to BING.

All of this trouble came about when Google maps stoped sending to my GPS.

And yes, he's right. You can send from Bing maps if you start Bing. If it's lunched from S&T, you can't send.

It's a Microsoft problem.

My Version

Hi S & T,

To answer your question, my Latest vertion is 2008.

I actually have bought several versions of S and T being a happy customer from my first upgrade way back in (I think) the late 90s. If I remember correctly I had bought a computer with a free copy of S and T. The next year I bought an upgrade because I loved the program so much. You guys have come such a long way since then. I upgraded several additional versions. The last one had the small GPS unit in it.

I was testing the 60 day trial of the 2010 version. I thought about upgrading again but I think ill wait for the 2011 version since I spent money on this garmin GPS. I still prefer traveling with my laptop and S&T for real long trips into unfamiliar territory as the screen is larger and I can set my own route.

Keep up the excellent work guys smile

Show in Bing Maps

mwbritt - thanks for your kind words!

S&T 2010 has the send to GPS device feature built in so there is no need to go to Bing maps for this feature.

The "show in Bing maps" feature in S&T was not designed to place any pushpins or route on Bing maps. It does open Bing maps to the same zoom level and location as in S&T.

We're always looking for ways to improve and appreciate your suggestion and comments.
