Nuvi series Config Question

OK, I just learned somthing cool within my 465T.
Once a destination has been set, you can click WHERE TO and then NEAR. Select MY CURRENT ROUTE and then go into your POI's (custom, preloaded ones, it doesn't matter)...
The device will then list the POI's along your planned route.
As a truck driver, this really makes my fuel stop planning a breeze!
Now, on to my question...
Do any of you Garmin gurus know of a way I can set up my device to do this by DEFAULT?
While the above method works just fine, I find it tedious to have to perform it each and every time I set a destination.

No, you can't set the nuvi to use this option bu default.
nuvi 760, nuvi 765T, nuvi 855, nuvi 3790LMT, nuvi 3490LMT - SoCal area

I know there's no way to do it within the settings and options on the device itself.
I guess what I'm asking is if there's a file that I can edit/hack to make it do what I want by default.
I suppose I'll just call Garmin up and have them walk me through it...

You seem to be looking for way to create a shortcut to the POI's while on a route. Unfortunately, you can't create shortcuts as of yet.
