Custom POI's

How many custom POI files can you download? I think that is my question? I have a nuvi255w, I have been able to load some custom POI's to my GPS. I Loaded a Wal-mart file and was able to see it on my GPS. Then I loaded another file... Lowes.. thought I was doing things right, but when checking to see.. I no longer had my Wal-mart file. My questions are: How many custom files can you download? If I want it all. can I have more than one file added to my nuvi255w?

Thanks

You have to load all of them

You have to load all of them at one time.Every time you run poiloader it overwrites the existing files.

Perfect, I was wondering about this POILoader over writing previous files. Also found out the POIs we upload to our garmins go into the "EXTRAS" folder.

Charlie..thank you..

You need the sox.exe

You need the sox.exe installed on your computer to allow the wav files to work .Right now all you get is the bong alert when you run poiloader in manual mode and set the alert distance or build alert distance in with gpx files.Nice to have alert to say Cracker Barrel ahead instead of the bong.

Try the renaming option

Won't overwrite if you use the renaming method:
