I'm new here. Help! (Tuesday Morning stores)

I just got a Garmin last month. In a few weeks, I'll be moving (taking a week to drive) from Salt Lake City, UT to Hollywood, FL. I think the POI thing is the coolest thing I've ever seen!

I really want to create a POI for one of my favorite stores, Tuesday Morning. I have no idea how to do this. Is there a tutorial somewhere that I can read to make one?

Welcome to the site!

Enjoy your trip!

Lots of info in FAQ area

You can also check the faq section:

I find that the hardest part is usually to "find" all the locations. Not all web sites are "friendly" for this.

If You Had More Time

If you had a more time, I would suggest that you contact Tuesday's head office and ask if you could get an Excel spreadsheet with the name, address, city, state etc, in separate columns. Tell them why you're doing it and that you plan to post it on a website so that almost 200,000 subscribers could access it.

I did this with Kia Canada and was amazed at the speedy response.

I took a look at their website and unfortunately, it requires that you enter your postal code.(OK! I know it's called a zip code in the States. I'm Canadian Eh!) That makes it impossible to create a file from the website.

Have you checked to see if it might already be listed on your GPS?

Welcome - This may be helpful...

To get a list of Tuesdays locations, just click on “Store Locator” in their website, then enter a city and state near where you're interested in and click "Search". You can get locations within 500 miles of your search center. For creating files, there is lots of help here at the "Factory", and also the website at: http://whoaboy.webs.com/creatingfiles.htm may be helpful - especially the "fast" part explained at: http://whoaboy.webs.com/creatingfiles.htm#503192892. This enables a massive amount of info to be collected easily – and fast, which can be used later at your own pace! A new “Site Map” makes it easy to find almost anything you’re interested in concerning Custom POI files, and will link you directly to a particular page or paragraph.

Check your GPS

I did a quick search and typed in Tuesday Morning in my Garmin GPS. I quickly filled multiple pages, so you shouldn't have to worry. They're already loaded.
