Questions After NuMap Updates

I just activated the NuMaps Lifetime subscription and successfully downloaded it to the Nuvi 750. I have some questions about it. After updated to 2010.30, MyGarmin has a re-download button and says it expires on Expires: Jan 11, 2010. I hope this means that the current update re-download status expires and not the lifetime subscription. Can anyone assure me this is normal. I've been on hold at Garmin for over 2 hours now.
Also Garmin is known for their abundance of activation numbers. Hopefully someone can explain what the miniumum I would need to prove my lifetime subscription.
1. First I received a Product Key on the NuMap gift card.
2. I activated it and now in MyGarmin it lists a different product key beside the 2010.30 update.
3. In Mapsource under "Map Product Manager", It lists a code for the new update. This code I think is the unlock code, which I did not have to enter.
4. MyGarmin lists a Registration code under "My Products" for the Nuvi 750. This is not the same Registration code as is found under "My Maps" for the 2010.30 map update.

I think I've kept track of all the information, but for crying out loud, what would be the minimum info I would need to prove my products. I have quite a collection of these numbers for the three Garmins I own.
Has anyone else sorted this out?

Don't worry.

The map file download expiration is normal on the lifetime subscription. You will get the invitation to download the next map when it is released and it will have a new download expiration date.

When you use the install wizard on the map downloads, you do not need to explicitly enter the unlock code. It is there for your protection in case you need to re-install on your nuvi.

Thanks

I should have posted this question earlier, it would have saved me a long time hearing the Garmin muzak. Thanks for your quick response. I'm relieved now and I'm sure excited about keeping the gps updated now.

Yes, it's as alandb says. That said, given the redownload expiration date, it's a good idea to keep the 2GB download map update file on your computer or burned to a DVD-R in the event you ever need to run it again, either for your GPS or for your computer's Mapsource.

Good Idea, I will.
