Historic Music Sites Project Discussion

I am a total music geek. I thought it would be fun to start a POI with historic music sites across the contry.

Rock N' Roll, Country, Blues, anything music.

Just to give you some ideas:
Graceland, Motown, Chess Records Studio...

Locations were famous, or infamous, events occured:
Riot House, Haight Ashbury, Fillmore, Death Locations...

What have you guys got?

Robert Johnson (legendary blues musician) recorded an album in a temporary studio there in 1936.

Legend has it that Robert Johnson "sold his soul to the devil" at a crossroads in Mississippi, hence the song "Cross Roads Blues" and the movie "Crossroads".

These all work! If you can

These all work!
If you can add a sentence or two on what happened at the location, that would be great too.

The HOF is obvious...

Thanks!

sometimes a typo can be very entertaining. I blame it on having wet nails. Although one would think that I would want to type less words in that situation not more.
