Nuvi 250 / can I display speed instead of time at destination?

In the lower left corner of the unit, the 250 usually shows arrival time at destination. The same "box" occasionally shows other info, like speed, but when it decides to display other info seems to be infrequent and hard to anticipate.

Motorcycle speedometers generally show speeds ~8% higher than actual (car speedos tend to be somewhat more accurate, mine is 4% optimistic). I'd prefer to have the speed displayed constantly, rather than arrival time.

Is there any way to control what is displayed?
