Did summer decide to wake up and join us this week? Not that I'm complaining. It's been quite nice these last few months.

oh boy ... monday again ...

... spent my weekend on the new Harley ... wish I would have remembered to bring the sunscreen

Still, it was worth it

Now I just need to figure out the best way to attach the Garmin ...

Not only sunscreen

You have to watch for windburn as well as sunburn. Try 300 miles on a hot July day in south Texas wearing a T and shorts!

Edit:

Of course I was young and stupid in those days. The only thing that's really changed is my age.

Sad to admit.. I heard THAT. Got funny spots on my legs from an all day ride through Florida in shorts 30 years ago. Was SO badly burnt we had to come home a few days later through the Smokey & Blue Ridge mountains just to keep cool. Skin peeled as thick as leather..yuk.

Doc says the spots are nothing to worry about.. but I might get a second opinion. Be careful out there on them scooters. (And in convertibles).

It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.

Summer over

Kids back at school. Back to the old schedule. No more vacation.

Watch out for school buses!

Watch out for school buses!

School start

My kids don't go back to school until the 24th. Two more weeks of fun. I can remember as a kid not starting until after Labor day. Some kids here started on Aug 3rd. Times have cghanged.

lonely traveler

Had enough of summer now

Two days of unbearable heat and humidity is enough for me. Bring on the snow.

That's my line!

That's usually my comment smile

I'm normally the one complaining about the summers, since I'm a winter baby. LOL
