How many time in one thread is too many for this?

Is this your snarky way of getting back at people who talk about weather?

Great finish!

Yucky week

This was the week of being sick as a dog, so no show online. Both of us sick, so no help for it.
Hope everyone else avoided that virus.

I wouldn't go as far as calling t snarky, However you are a very observant community member. And right now I happen to be very proud of the Cleveland Cavaliers and hey it's better than talking about the weather, and they have only been one daily, kinda like a weather post.

My personal feelings posts like these should go into a heading call frivolous postings, that way members still get credit for the post, but no one has to read them unless they want to, and we can still have a vibrant chit chat thread.

like I said before no one really cares about the weather where you are, only where they are, making weather posts a very frivolous post or any other repetitive post as a matter of fact.

The Cavs are looking good. Will Lebron finally get his first ring?? That would be cool - he's a heck of a ball player and deserves one!

Still won't be enough to keep him in Cleveland though ... what are you guys going to do when LJ jumps ship to play NY???? LOL!

Amazing Data

Ran across this demographics web site the other day and thought it was kind of interesting looking at some of the demographics of POI Factory users. I do not know where they get their numbers and stats from.

Link:

http://www.quantcast.com/poi-factory.com#demographics

Your inquiry:
Can you please tell me how you guys get the demographic data for a site like POI-Factory.com and how accurate is it?
Thanks
Bob Dee

Hi Bob -- The initial profile is an "estimate". It is generated the same way Neilsen or ComScore generate audience profiles -- through a panel. That said, our Quantified Publisher Methodology is more accurate. Disney, FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC and 95,000 other publishers rely on us for the best data. If you want to read more about us, you can read it here: http://www.quantcast.com/docs/display/info/Methodology Thanks for contacting us.
Best.
Mark

Isn't it amazing. I looked at the site and, sure enough, I fit into one of the categories in each area. Amazing. Bet you do too. (TIC)

Reading this on the internet

Reading this on the internet this morning.

General Motors Corp. said it will cut 21,000 U.S. factory jobs by next year, phase out its storied Pontiac brand and ask the government to take company stock in exchange for half GM’s government debt as part of a major restructuring effort needed to get more government aid.

Hate to see the Pontiac go.

Lebron has more money than most country's, why would he want to play in New York? right now he is playing all his childhood dreams and playing in front of family and friends. This is literally his home and the JUMP he's going to make is a Slam Dunk against those NY teams. LOL

Monday's really suck, and today was the worst so far this year....

Woke up, showered, went into the closet to get dressed, and the light didn't come on. I thought, Hmmm that's weird, so I tried the switch again and it worked. When I got in the closet I looked up at the light fixture to see of the flourescent bulbs were going bad, and that's when my day got worse.... the fixture was FULL OF WATER!!! Yea, I had a leak in the new roof I just had put on my house.

I call the installer and they had a crew out there in about an hour. It turns out they installed the ridge vent wrong and overlapped the seams wrong and it dripped right onto the bolt for the fixture and it pooled up, then ripped the fixture part way out of the ceiling and all the overflow water drenched half of our clothes.

They fixed the problem, but now I have to wait for everything (except the clothes) to dry out before they'll get someone back in to look at the damage.

Guess this roofer won't be getting a good reference on Angies list.
