Traffic Subscriptions

It appears there are problems with traffic subscriptions coming from Garmin. If you have activated a subscription recently, you may only get three months instead of a full year, or you may get 15 minutes instead of a lifetime.

Supposedly they will be able to fix this without issue, but should you see this happen on your traffic receiver, make sure you call the customer support line at Garmin to make sure you are getting what you paid for.

To check your subscription, while traffic receiver is plugged in, go to tools, settings and traffic. You will see the traffic subscription you have, and can follow this to see when the subscription dies, or is out of date. Most "should" be lifetime, but if it is not, call customer support and get it taken care of.

This is an on going problem. It's been going on since first part of April.

lifetime

I found out that if you are downloading something with Canada in it that they are trying to fix the problem that it wont let you download it until you get someone from Garmin to work with you.. anyone else have that problem when downloading the new maps?
