Does anyone know where I can find a POI file of toll booths throughout the US?
Thanks!

Northeast US tolls
There are many toll files for the northeast US in the Transportation section (Maryland Tolls, Delaware Tolls, PA Turnpike, NJ Turnpike, NY Thruway and various bridge toll files as an example).

Thank you for your input.
Thank you for your input. I've added your info to my csv file and if I get enough info, I may upload it to this site. I've already added the Michigan tolls. I know when I've been traveling through Chicago and Orlando, it seemed like I was always stopping to throw money and having a little advance info, even if it were outdated, would have been helpful.
Illinoise Toll Booths
I just uploaded a list of all Illinois Tollbooths and their costs and sound files from their website so the cost are up to date. Easypass is half price. I do not know how long all files take to show up. Put it in a redlight file and at what distance to tell you the cost and you are set.
A Tip for Garmin
Wouldn't it be great for Garmin to add toll information, i.e. approximate cost, when calculating a trip that included tolls. You could then redo the trip with "avoid toll roads" and see the difference in time verses cost to use toll road.
Something to think about Garmin.

Tolls
I've been keeping track of tolls in Atlantic Canada and the NE US. As I travel (just got back from Myrtle Beach) I update the tolls.
One idea that really works for me is to have the toll amount shown first in the title line; set a proximaty alarm and that way it appears as an alert on my Garmin well before the toll booth signs and gives me a chance to dig out the right change!

Illinois Tolls
For those who cannot wait for the webmaster to put up my Illinois toll road csv file and sounds, I put them on one of my websites and can be found at http://www.lacplesis.com/Toll_Booth_Sounds.html
I will take them down after they appear on this site.
Anyone with Indiana info???
Anyone with Indiana info???
POI category » transportation
There are a few under "POI category » transportation."
Maybe we should have toll booths as a separate category.

Ticket-based toll roads

I wonder how it would handle ticket-based toll roads such as the NJ Turnpike, PA Turnpike, NY Thruway, etc. I think the software would have to have all exit-to-exit permutations loaded for the road.

The way things are
going down here in Texas, we will have to have a POI toll file all our own. Our state wants to make ALL our roads, toll roads.
Not doing anything worth a darn.
Maybe the could color code
Maybe the could color code the roads for freeways vs. tollways. Do they have an option to avoid tollroads in routing???
