ICONS

Installed some new POIs along with icons. Renamed the icons to match the .csv files, however when viewing the icons on the map their color has a strong green tint to it.

Can anyone shed some light as to why this is happening?

Only one of the icons of the many that I used looks perfect.

Model?

What model do you have? There have been a couple topics about this regarding the 765t:

Download IrfanView it is a freeware program.

http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm

IrfanView will batch convert. If you use the Thumbnail Viewer:

1. right-click the selected images
2. choose "Start batch dialog with selected files"
3. choose output format (BMP)
4. check "Use advanced options"
5. click "Advanced" button
6. choose "Change Color Depth" (256)

There are many other neat settings there as well.

No harm, but...

It's usually good practice to either credit the original poster of content, or just include the link to the original post, instead of copying and pasting someone else's posts.

Was your original problem with icons downloaded from this site, or ones you had created? If they were downloaded from here, let the author know so corrected versions can be uploaded for everyone.
