I'm a new user of GPS.
I got a TOM TOM ONE model.
I'm trying to upload a custom POI file using POI loader on a MAC. The software say that all the point are uploaded, but i don't know where to see them in my GPS.
Can i browsed them on the device?
You should see them as .OV2
You should see them as .OV2 files in the TomTom map directory (united_states)
FYI load the .bmp files as well, or they'll just show up in red.

Not sure
I am not a TomTom user, but where did you get the poi loader? Most of the time I have only heard that in reference to Garmin. So it will probably not work on a TomTom.
If you got it from tom tom's site, then I am all wet and sorry for the intrusion.
try this link,

Welcome
I have a few questions before I can try and help: what model do you have; did you load the POIs as .csv files or .ov2 files; do you know where (which folder) on your particular unit POI Loader saved the files to; and did you load the associated icons (.bmp files) as well?

You don't need a POI loader
You don't need a POI loader for TomTom. You only have to copy the .ov2 and .bmp files to the TomTom map folder.
I have the TomTom 125.
To convert .csv file to .ov2 files read this: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/6675
The instructions are missing something. You need to "convert" and not "save as". Once it's done it works flawlessly.
