Delete Garmin Splash Screen?

Is there a way to delete the Garmin Splash Screen? I replaced mine with an image I no longer want displayed. If Possible, I'd like to revert back to the Original Splash screen. It's a NUVI 250.

Any help is appreciated. I'm giving this GPS Away, so the new owner can replace it if they like.

Thanks DK, Kinda what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if it was a file I replaced, or part of the firmware, or whatever.

If anyone has an Original Splash .JPG (Square Screen, not widescreen) I'd appreciate if they could send it my way. Thanks.

I just tested it, and all you have to do is uncheck your modified jpeg. It will then display the default garmin logo at startup.

You then just remove your image from the nuvi.

That was easy lol smile The question is: if I want to revert back, do I just delete the picture? or what?
