I'm not up on your particular model, but you might want to have a look at the instructions posted here: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/4560
If that doesn't help/work then do a search for mp3 info @: www.tomtomforums.com

Re: Alerts
As Mike L. indicates, you need to encode (convert) the file from .mp3 to .ogg format.
Refer to Vorbis:
http://www.vorbis.com/setup_windows/
for software to play and convert .ogg files.
