Just saying hello....

Hi Folks. Just a quick Howdy from a GPS Noob. I just got a Garmin Streetpilot C340 today (my first GPS) and I'm just getting the hang of it.
It looks like there's a lot of good info on the site, and some friendly folks, so I'll probably spend some time lurking about and soaking in as much as I can.
Up to now, I've never considered a GPS because I'm pretty good at reading maps, and always thought they were rather unnecessary. The wife convinced me to buy one to use on some upcoming trips around the State (Florida) to finally enjoy some of what this great state has to offer. We've lived here for about fifteen years, but with both of us busting our buns at work, we didn't have much of a chance to get out and see anything (other than business travel). Neither of us are getting any younger, so ....it's time
From what I've seen so far....I can't believe I waited this long! I can definitely see the potential this little puppy holds, and can hardly wait to put it through its paces.
