Cigarette lighter Plug

Im starting to have trouble with my Cigarette Plug Adpt for the 660. When I plug it in it works just fine, but as I drive the plug will loose power. I checked the Lighter it works ok with other items. How long is the warranty. Anybody else have this problem..

Nuvi 650 - doesn't want to charge from cig lighter

I bot mine in summer 2008 - love it - works fine except it refuses to work on the cig lighter now. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

Check the fuse in the adapter, and for the car.

Mine seems to work in one of our cars but is sensitive to positioning in the other. I bought a y-splitter (splits into 2 female plugs) and it fits like a glove, never any trouble. The radar detector stays plugged into the other. Or you could splice in another plug that holds firmly.

My sockets

have open areas in them. When I plug in the power adapter sometimes the contacts end up in a slot and don't connect. I just pull it out, rotate it, and plug it back in.
