i just put sounds on my nuvi 760 they are in my mp3 player i went on vacation and the sound alert did not come on for example i passed a dunkin doughnuts and the sound was supposed to say the name and alert me any info on this would be great thanks

Make sure the MP3 dunkin doughnuts Alert, is the exact same name as the poi except for the extension, and also in the same directory as the POI file.

The audio alerts do not belong on the GPS -- they should be in the same folder on your computer as the csv/gpx file; they get loaded along with the POI file and are within the POI.gpi file. They do not appear in the MP3 player.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

Yes; load your POIs as before and it will automatically add the audio alerts if you have them named correctly. Use manual mode and set an alert.

my nuvi just died i turned

my nuvi just died i turned it off now can't get it back on
