In NYC you can get unleaded for 2.51 and the next door station is 2.89, I saw in Manahttan today for 3.39

hope it keeps going down!!!

atlanta ga 1.91 for 87 octane

Gas in San jose, CA is 2.28

I saw it for 1.97 over the weekend. Someone at work said they saw 1.77.

In the Detroit area you can find it as low as 1.90 a gallon. Nice to see these prices again.

Alberta is the primary source of oil in Canada. In July, gas prices where I live hit $1.40 per liter - which translated to around $5.30 per US gallon. Now we're down to around 75 cents per liter, almost half of what it was. But with the exhange rate (our dollar is now 0.84US), that converts to $3.40 per US gallon.

So $2.55 a gallon doesn't sound too bad!

I paid 1.74/gal for Regular at Costco last night. Some stations in the area are still at 2.10 and lowest are selling for 1.69.

I went to Memphis last weekend and filled up at $1.969 at Exxon. In Montgomery, Alabama (where I live), it's about $2.189.

$1.85 for regular in Clover, SC.

$2.29 for regular in Hollywood FL. today.

We finally broke the 2.00 plane here @ 1.97 today in AL.

Didn't think we will see this day ever, but finally gas prices here (Dayton, OH) are back under 2 bucks. But I guess I better knock on my wood desk real hard real long, so that I don't jinx it.

Are there other places that are seeing <$2 gas?

Parts of the state are $1.99 reg at the lowest and about 2.45 reg highest.

What is the price of gas in AZ. The tax there is less than some states.
Last year it was a dollar cheaper across the river in AZ as compared to Needles CA.

No kidding! $1.65?!?! That would be nice. I'm thinking that Pickens is going to have a harder time selling "the plan" with prices this low.

When things cost more, because of fuel charges they do not go down when fuel costs drop. That is why NYC residents are still paying $35 a car on their car registration, that was imposed on us in the 70's during that fiscal crisis.

In my fairly rural area the only site that has a decent amount of gas stations here and is updated frequently is http://autos.msn.com (click on gas prices)

They seem to have the most listings and the most frequent updates.

A lot of you guys are lucky. Gas is $2.37 near me and $2.30 in town 25 miles away.

It is nice to finally see gas prices go down in price...now only if the cost of food and other necessities would follow this downward trend...

$1.79 in York, SC today. Nice to fill up (10 gallons) for a little less than 18 dollars.

Not the best in the country but it seems like it has been a long time since I filled up for $15.00 like I did today(although it was only 8.25 gallons).

At Costco in San Leandro,CA filled up for $2.23. This price drop has been a real good deal so far.
Also please take a drop by your local curcuit city stores. They are closing some locations down and the prices are real good. Just picked up a 900 Pioneer AVIC F700BT for 590. Great head unit for vehicle.

What a swing in a couple of months. It wasn't that long ago and I paid $4.29. This morning I paid $1.77 north of Atlanta.

Remembering while standing in long lines caused by forced shortages, and the government promises of alternate fuel sources, the promises all but dried up after the oil producers decided to let the oil flow after they got what they wanted from our government (Alaskan pipe line).

So now that the price of oil is going down once again, does being green not mean what it meant two months ago? Will the government promises of alternate fuel sources dry up once again?

I guess time will tell the story once again, after all to coin a phrase once uttered by a wise creature, that BTW turned 53 in September "it aint easy being green".

Good to know - I will be relocating back to my home state of OH, to the Dayton area. Originally from the Cleveland area, but none the less I look forward to moving back.

just got back from Orlando fl and the price of gas was $1.99 at costco and Hess station stations on I95 in Georgia seen it at $1.87.

I just filled up at $1.78 today. My gauge was below E and I could hardly cram $20 of gas in. I love it!

I filled up today for $1.809 on the pump. Then I had a 19 cent discount slip for 12 gallons for buying groceries. That brought the price down to $1.619. That's in MN.

Cheapest regular here $2.149 at Costco...

Gas in Toronto down to $0.79 L !! Lowest since 2002 I think.

That is 10% off from $1.809 down to $1.619.

What a drop from 4.48. That hurt It sure is nice to fill up for about only about $25 instead of $60.

Price in the Mid-Cities (Between Dallas and Ft Worth) Reg $1.75 Premium $2.05. Prices are down 15 cents since last week.
