Great Idea

I can't think of any stores but this sounds like a great idea. I love trying different hot and BBQ sauces. I might be able to put this to use once it is done.

Dear JR,

I love heat. I always keep a bottle of hot sauce at home and another at the office. I also love horseraddish and wasabe. I once had to have someone pound on my back to let me breathe after eating a little too much wasabe on my sushi. That stuff is wonderful.

I was wondering if this POI would be just for heat. I have West Indian friends who tell me where to obtain spices here in Brooklyn but these emporia may not all be carrying heat. If heat is a necessity to your file, I shall limit my contributions to those vendors.

I am sorry to hear that such places are scarce in your neighbourhood.

David,

Bring it on - I'll include these too, as I love a good horseradish or wasabe too.

Thank you in advance for any locations that you know of.

Great Salsas

Greetings,

My favorite place for salsa in the Phoenix metro area is:

Pro's Ranch Market
1602 E Roosevelt Street
Phoenix, AZ 85006
602-254-6676

33.458697,-112.047092

www.prosranch.com

There are four Ranch Market stores in the Phoenix area, this one also has a great restaurant named Tradiciones attached. It is my favorite place for Pico de Gallo and Carnitas. No gringo salsas here! Take away the heat with a choice of various Aguas Frescas made on site, my favorite being horchata.

All the Salsas are made fresh and there are at least six or seven choices from Jalapeno to Habanero and Chipotle. Also a variety of chips to accompany the salsas and a great Tortilleria.

I hope everyone enjoys this place as much as I do.

Miss POI will be posting the chili pepper bmp and mp3 files I sent her to make a POI package. When they are up there, let me know what you think.

I am glad to see the positive response to this POI and glad that we made it a team effort. I want to keep it this way, so if anyone has any thoughts or more POI locations (on topic) that hey would like to contribute, please shoot them over to me.

Here's a thought - If anyone wants to post on topic bmp icons, we can open up for a vote for the best one. I will post the one with the most votes.

Any takers?
