Ok, rookie question. I made custom POIs for all my credit union branches and atms. I created a file in my POI file and titled it "City Credit Union". In it I created 2 files one for branch locations and another for atms and saved them as a .csv. I ran the POI loader and it won't load it on to my Nuvi 200w. What did I do wrong??

have you read
Have you read http://www.poi-factory.com/node/85?
If you ask more specific questions, maybe we can see where you are going wrong.
Have you been able to load any poi file? Download one from the site and make sure your format matches.

Just a guess
I created a file in my POI file and titled it "City Credit Union". In it I created 2 files . . .
Assuming you mean "folders" instead of files when you say "POI file" and "City Credit Union", my guess would be that you reversed the coordinate fields. As Daniel says, it is almost guaranteed to be a formatting problem it POI Loader won't load it.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
Well I guess I figured it
Well I guess I figured it out. I've loaded several POIs on my GPS both from here and my own and I had already read the above link. I guess I had too many subfolders or something. Heres what I had done. Under "my documents" on C: is my "POI" folder. In that folder I had created a folder and titled it "City Credit Union" and in that folder I created 2 more folders titled "ATMs" and "Branch Locations". In those 2 folders I created my POIs in notebook and saved them as .csv to their respective folder. What I did to get them to load is get rid of the "City Credit Union" folder and made 2 seprate folders for Branches and ATMs in the POI folder. Hope this makes sense. Did I have too many folders or something? Like I said I'm still new to all this. Thanks for the help.
Just one level of folders
If I remember correctly, you can only have one level of sub-folders under your "POI" folder. No more than that. You can have many sub-folders under your "POI" folder, but they all must be at that first level, not a sub-folder under a sub-folder under a sub-folder, etc. If that makes sense.
I seem to remember making the same mistake when I first tried loading POI files.

Try a different folder layout
You may want to keep the City Credit Union folder and place the two files directly in this. Name one Bank.csv and the other ATM.csv. Then from Extras select City Credit Union and you will have a choice of which file to load.
Just a thought.

Looks like you had to many levels of subfolders in one folder. It appears you have it set up like this example now which is correct.
>My pois=main folder
>>City credit union=subfolder
>>>Branches.csv
>>>Atm.csv
