POI Loader (stops before screen to load POIs)

Need Help. I downloaded the latest version of POI Loader and it looks like it is loading but stops short of bringing up the screen to load POI's. What am I doing wrong?

Do you mean you've got a dialogue box, with no buttons on it?
If so, this is a side-effect of having a 'non-standard' screen layout. Moving the Taskbar from the bottom of the screen, having the Office taskbar running, or the BBC News Ticker - things like that have been known to cause it.
If you use the Windows 2000 'classic theme', there's just enough of the buttons showing to click them - otherwise, you have to reset your screen layout to standard

POI Loader
I downloaded POI Loader and then double clicked on the icon to load the loader. It gets to the point where it say "launch POI Loader". That is where it stops, the loader does not load.

Sounds like you need to re-install the software.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

I have found that shutting the computer down, unplugging it, waiting 10 to 15 seconds and then plugging it back in and re-booting cures all sorts of ills.
Also un-installing going through the previous procedure also helps at times.. and re-download poi loader again..
But none of this works if Mercury is in retrograde.
So you have to wait until June 19th...

POI Loader
It was working fine when I use version 2.5.1 since I downloaded version 2.5.2 is when the problem started. Is there any way to get back version 2.5.1. I have restarted and shut down my computer and still the same problem. Deleted 2.5.2 and re-downloaded 2.5.2 but still the same problem

Is there any way to get back version 2.5.1.
