Bulk-creation of POI files (CSV) from street addresses

I have been using www.poieditor.com to manually map-out and create POI files successfully. Does anyone know of a way to create POI files with lat/long from a list of street addresses?

I envision a process as: 1) get street address file, 2) copy into Excel spreadsheet, 3) export Excel into some (tbd) program, 4) export newly-populated CSV file back to PC, 5) uplaod to Garmin via POI_Loader.
Thoughts?

Batch geo-coding

Ok,
I think i may have found my own answer at:

http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/geocoder/

You enter text addresses and the software geo-references the address and you can then export a GPX file...

Convert a file.

It also gives you the option to convert a gpx file to csv http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert

GPS visualizer lat-long

The only thing I see thats goofy in GPS visualizer is that, after I enter a batch of street addresses, then when I cut & paste the output screen back into a spreadsheet, the lat-long columns are REVERSED?

Batch Geocode

I would recommend you try http://www.batchgeocode.com/

I have not tried it with my GPS (yet), but have used it many times for mapping in ArcGIS. There is some limit on the number you can do at once but it has not been a major issue for me.
