Garmin 350 POI Loading Problem

I loaded some POI's on the Garmin 350 with no problem. I then had to delete them as I wanted to redo some. After I deleted all of them I loaded one and when I went to my Custom Poi's and tapped Customs Poi's I had all the Poi's but I don't have a seperate dir for each poi example: Sams Club then the poi's inside, Mc Donalds then the poi's inside. Then when I write another poi file it writes over the top of the last one? Weird

The unit always syncs itself

The unit always syncs itself with the folder on your computer. If you remove something from the folder on the computer, it removes it from the nuvi next time it connects. And vice versa, of course.

You can create sub-folders within your file system should you want. I've played around with this a bit. If you wanted to add 10 restaurant chains within your local area, you may want to use a folder called "local restaurants" and throw the 10 lists in there.

or.......

or another way is to load one set, then change the name of Custom.poi to refect the name, such as SAms Club, then load the next and change again, until all is loaded.

Make separate POI files for each folder (category) you want. For the above example, you will need two different POI files; one for Sams club and the other for MC Donald.

When uploading those files to your unit, remember to put them in the same folder in your computer. Then, when instructed by POI loader, point to that folder. POI loader will then upload all the containing POI files in the folder.
