Changing CSV Format To Way Points

I am brand new to GPS and this site. Can someone help a newbie understand - how do you create a useful POI file that you can upload to this forum? I'm an Excel user and know the .csv file format. Is there some kind of tutorial available that walks me through the process?

Check out the faq & help tab at the top of the page, then look for Creating POI files. Pretty much most of what you need will be there. There is also a Link at the bottom of the faq page that is good reference as well. Any questions you may have can probably be found by searching here at the POI Factory, if not, just ask. Plenty of people here that are willing to help. I thought I would have more questions, but after reading thru all the posts here, I don't really have any questions.
