Changes from version 1.30 to version 1.40:
Made compatibility changes for future Garmin products.
Changes from version 1.20 to version 1.30:
Fixed a problem where voice was not handling map phonetics correctly.
Changes from version 1.00 to version 1.20:
Added support for reading SMS messages on products that support this.
Added support for mixed routes on products that support this.
Fixed problem where street name was not said when the speak key was pressed in non-routing mode.
Fixed problem where voice would read 'del' as 'Delaware' in street names.
Ya, which model?
For future reference, it would be helpful to mention which model you use since the updates are not usually across the board for all models, so your updates may not apply (or appear) for other models.

Garmin nüvi 200 (my first GPS), 780, & 3700 Series. And a Mac user.
TTS
As far as I can see it is just the TTS voices that are affected. Witha Nüvi 200 you won't be affected.
