FOOD POI per state (known to small places)

Do we have a POI for restaurant/diner/etc. that when you visit places that somebody recommends that they don't miss if they visit some states?

For example, when you visit Philly, don't forget to try GENO's, PATs etc.

Most of this I watch from FOOD network.

Food POI Idea

There's a boatload of restaurant POI's on the site already. However, if you're suggesting a "Greasy Spoon" POI, I didn't see one. Kinda like the idea. The only problem with it is that it's a very locally related subject. You'd have to be able to accept input from other people somehow to get a good POI out of it. Maybe submitting suggestions through an e-mail address or making a Project out of it here on the site, or both?

It's your idea. I say run with it!

The one on metro mostly are common restaurants. The one I'm suggesting is locally know to your places. One example is while I was watching FOOD network. They visit places that most people go to and most of time know locally only.

This way if I planned to visit a state. I could check if there was a POI near on my place that people recommended.

Miss Poi said as soon as time permits she will be setting something up for favorite restaurants.

Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.

There is the Diners,

There is the Diners, Drive-in and Dives POI.
