Canadian Rockies

We took that trip a few years ago and it was great. I know I had about 100 POI's for the area. Let me see if I can find them and I'll submit them to Miss Poi.

Not sure what it is you are looking for. There's a lot on the west coast it's mainly specific. Botanical gardens has some entries for example. Some are quite old you are right about that. Grab Vancouver Downtown Attractions, just looked at that. There's nothing I would add to that other than on a side note, you will have a hard time finding free parking anywhere in Vancouver. You will have to pay if you decide to go to a park also. As far as The Island is concerned, we call that place "for the newly wed or nearly dead" You do know the Ferry ride is expensive? If your a senior you get to ride free during the week. Grab the fares pdf. Bring Money lots of it, Vancouver knows how to lighten your load...lol

Vancouver Island has some wonderful places to visit; I highly recommend it. Of course, if you crave excitement you could just hang around downtown Vancouver and wait for the next riot.... wink

The ferry is not cheap but IMO the fares are reasonable. They are more expensive if you are pulling a trailer or have an oversized vehicle because you have to go on the truck deck with the transports and buses where space is at more of a premium. Still, I consider a ride on the Big Boat as a bonus, not a liability.

That's funny

NOT....It's embarrassing, nothing exciting about the whole thing.
