Nuvi 260 "GPS Chipset Type M" update

WebUpdater informs me that this item is available. Can't find chipset type under system/about. Loathe to take a chance on bricking my GPS, because I leave on a west coast trip in a couple of days.

It is safe to install. But...
It is safe to install. Is supposed to improve speed of satellite lock. Works well on mine. Some people have posted that they think it hurt performance.
