loading POILoader

Ok, the instructions say save your POILoader in a place on the computer hard drive where you can find it easily. I was not given an opp to locate the place to save. What's up? I'm new to this, so may have missed something imp.

We have had a Garmin GPS for about 8 mos now and are still using it, even tho it misses the mark about 10% of the time. Fellow users say use it with paper maps, etc. Like all new technology, this will get better!

Try Your Desktop

What you are doing initially is just downloading an install file. Just put it on your desktop. After downloading, go to your desktop and double-click it to activate it. GArmin will decide where to put the actual program. Don't worry about it just give it a try. You'll see!

After you save

After you save the POI loader .exe file to your puter, run the .exe and it should be in a folder entitled "Garmin" in the "All Programs" main folder where most of your other applications are located !

On your puter, if its Windows based, go to start, search. Type in POIloader and it should find it for you.
