where do i get detail instruction for starting

Do i have to have microsoft csv program ?

can i convert POIdowncoads to a format that be downloaded to my nuvi 350 ?

how do i change file type?

can i open the downloaded cvs files and then convert them to a format acceptable to NUVI ?

1. Already answered above.
2. All you need to author a .csv file is a text editor, such as Notepad. Excel also works; but be sure to save as a .csv file. Also, if using Excel, be carefull as it will sometimes format the file in a way you don't want.
3. Most, if not all, POI files on POI Factory are either .csv or .gpx files. Neither require any converting to work on the nuvi 350. Just use POI Loader to load them on the nuvi 350.
4. That depends on what format you're changing from and what format you're changing to.
5. See 3 above.

Be aware that the nuvi 350 and nuvi 360 do not display standard linebreaks correctly. The linebreaks need to be converted to <br> for these two units. POI Verifier, at http://www.poiverifier.com will convert them for you. It also will check for Garmin's correct format of .csv poi files.
