Organizing Custom POIs on Nuvi 260 problem

Should be more than 15, but it is probably just showing the closest to you. Beyond that you would probably have to search by name. That's the advantage of having them in category groupings, then you get all of the closest ones in the category you are looking for.

Depending on the unit you have, you may be able to get into a longer list by using the spell function. In my 60C I can get all in a category, alphabetically, by using Spell and not entering any letters. Doesn't appear I can do that on my Muvi though.

Its only showing the first 15 or so categories in alphabetical order. It doesn't show anything past C. when I select a category, it displays the actual POIs as it usually does.

No, I see all of mine. How many files do you have in Garmin\POI? Are you sure that you didn't forget to rename them and overwrote them, I have done often.

I had 66 *.gpi files in the POI folder. I went through them all to make sure I had loaded all of them on.

Consolidate where you can. For example,
Instead of one for McD's,Wendy's, BK etc, just make one "fast food" and have them all in there.

I read somewhere, but of course can't find it now, that there is a limit to entries. (not total poi). I know someone will read that wrong. However, I thought it was more than 15.
