For those who didn't see my earlier post, I returned my 660 and bought a 680 from Costco online for $479.99, which was $220 less than the 660. I figured that it was worth giving MSN a test, since the 660's traffic didn't do much for me on our round trip from Dana Point, CA to Sedona, AZ in October.
I'm anxious to see how the 680's traffic system works for me. It would be great if it actually did anything like letting me know ahead of time about a jam.
My issue with the 660 was that it kept trying to get me to go back to where I ran into a major jam at the 215/61 intersect. I was semi familiar with the area, but it just would "recalculate" a bypass route back to the 61, which was what I needed.
I'll be posting about my experience with the 680 once I receive it. Soon, I hope.
The good thing about purchasing from Costco is their liberal return policy. I figured that if the 680 doesn't work out, I can look for a deal on the 760.
I don't suppose there's a way to use both traffic systems at the same time, is there?
