Help with uploading POI files

when you plugged your gps into the computer did it recognize your gps? My loader first has to recognize the gps before it will load the files. Or the first time i had to manually search for the gps..make sure the unit is on too..

OK I see where the loader buttons are supposed to be but they aren't there.
I have deleted & re uploaded the program 5 times. Still the same thing.
Running XP
Do you know of another uploader other than the garmin?

So I cannot see the button but if I "tab" thru I can access them.
But now POI loader cannot find my file(s)
What extension is the right one?
I have tried ot save it as every combination & POI still doesnt seem to locate them.

They should be either .csv, or .gpx files, and should be located in the same directory(folder) as the poiloader.exe file. Or in subfolders in the same folder.

They do not need to be located in the same directory as the poiloader. They do need to be located in a folder, though, and not on the desktop. You point poiloader to the container folder.

Regarding the buttons, Is your Windows taskbar anywhere but at the bottom of the screen? If so, move it to the bottom.
