Is it just me or.... (poi loader buttons)

I am trying to use Garmin's POI software however the buttons I really need to use are outside the window and cannot be resized or brought back in to the working area. What gives? is anyone else having this problem with the POI loader software? Many thanks!

DB

try reinstalling

remove the current installation (control panel, add/remove programs) and reinstall.

if that doesn't work ... hopefully someone else has an idea for you!

Use the search feature

Use the search feature at the top of each page for "POI Loader" and you'll see that others are experiencing some sort of problems with it and possible solutions.

If you still have the problem, then I suggest you provide more information so that we can help you (e.g. PC/Mac, Operating System version, POI loader version, etc.)

.

Is your Windows taskbar anywhere but at the bottom of the screen? Move it to the bottom.

POI Loader doesn't like the BBC News Ticker scrolling across the top line either sad

I've got used to clicking the edges of the buttons that are just about still visible ...

I'm assuming a lot here: that you have Windows XP, the 'window' you mentioned is the 'POI Loader' program window, the 'buttons' you mentioned are the POI Loader buttons, and these buttons are off the monitor. If so, try Right-clicking the desktop anywhere that is blank (no icons), click on Properties, click on the Settings tab, move the Screen resolution slider one higher setting toward More (keeping the same aspect ratio-i.e. wide screen or standard screen ratio), and click OK. Another long shot, but the buttons just may appear.
