Removing unwanted files on Garmin 330C

Hi,
Just joined this list and I'm blown away by all the POI's you can add to this unit.
One question tho, is it possible to remove any unwanted files from my garmin that I know I will not be using such as languages? This would free up some room in my unit for more POI's. I've attempted to do so but have not found a way to do this. Comments???

SD card
I think it is safer for you to put stuff on the SD card. SD card 1-2gb is so cheap nowaday. 2gb SD card around $18-20 including shipping.

Welcome to one great site.
You may want to do a search for "backing up" the GPS (always do that before deleting any files) and "removing unwanted files". There are numerous threads relating to these subjects.

Yeah, unfortunately Garry, the c330 doesn't present itself as a USB Mass Storage device on the computer, so I don't think that you can access those files to delete them.
Also, unfortunately, that unit won't read the Custom POIs from the SD card so they have to be loaded to the unit.

Thanks everyone for your quick responses. Looks like I'm out of luck with deleting data but it still is a sweet unit.
