Memory capacity of Nuvi 370

Does anyone know the internal (not using a SD card) memory capacity of a 370? I have loaded many POI files related to my RV travels and I have no idea how much more space internally is available. Will POI files be overwritten when capacity is reached or just rejected?

I don't know how much space (probably 2GBs, but that is just a guess from what the nuvi350 has). They will be rejected if you run out of space.

Take a look at the properties of the nuvi drive when attached to the PC. My 370 shows about 4 gig.

Even with the new v2008 maps and v5.0 updates, I still have .8 GB 'free space' left for Custom POIs. My mp3 music files are on the SD card.
Copy the nuvi\Garmin\vehicle and the nuvi\Garmin\Voice folders to your computer. Then delete the voice and vehicle files on the nuvi that you won't be needing. I doubt many will ever exceed 800 MB worth of Custom POIs.

The nuvi 370 has a 4GB internal memory. When you hook the nuvi into your computer go to windows explorer and click on the garmin (E) and then properties. This will show you what you have used and what is left. If you have a SD card installed, click on (F)and then properties and it will tell you how much you have left on your card.

Drive E and F are not always the drive letters, but are relative to ones computer. Depending on whether I have my encrypted drives 'mounted', my nuvi drives will be anywhere from E to U.

Good catch - I think it should still show garmin and the (drive) whatever it is and the card (drive) should be the next one in line (I think) I probably have told you more than I know.

Thanks for all the replies! My nuvi 370 has 4 gig and I have 1.2 gig left that is available even with all my POI's
