Well, my wife and I just returned from our two week trip to Rome and the Tuscany region of Italy. In preparing for the trip I created POI files for Rome, Florence and a few other loacations. Used google earth and my Nuvi 370 to generate these POI's. I stress that I did NOT use any other source to generate this information.
So my question is: Is there any interest in my uploading these files? The list is hardly complete, but I have about 130 entries at present, most of central, ancient Rome. After I clean it up in a week or so, it would be about 100, I'm guessing. What's the interest; should I or shouldn't I post?

Will do ! Give me a week or so to clean things up. I need to improve the descriptions, trying to include two lines where necessary. I made the entries just so I could recogized the places, but if we publish it, I would like it to look better.

Did you have the Europe NT map
Did you have the Europe NT map on your GPSr? I plan to get that for our next trip to Rome and am wondering how complete it is.

Yes I did. The nuvi 370
Yes I did. The nuvi 370 comes preloaded with all European maps. I didn't use the unit in Rome a whole lot. But I did use when we were in Tuscany. Italy is doing some major work on the A1 in and about Rome, particularly on the leg from A1 via A1-dir to the airport. They are putting in new tunnels, etc. The maps maps will get you by, however, and you should have no problems. Outside of Rome is another story.
