A collection of several hundred of the older/larger/more famous astronomical Star Parties, astronomy villages, and a few conventions (though many of those move annually) that exist in the US, Canada, and a couple elsewhere in the western hemisphere. By no means complete (and may change annually), this POI serves to help party-goers find a party they've registered for, or may guide the user to dark sites (since most are also great dark-sky sites), and most descriptions per site give enough info to google for a complete description of the relevant star party for possible attendance.

I tried to verify actual observing fields using topographic mapping software, and not just generic lat/longs for some park... this was 93% effective... I cross-correlated these with actual party websites, or contacted coordinators. Then I cross-checked in Google Earth. I did this for every site to improve accuracy. Note that some parties are at private sites and require registration (and maybe a fee), while others are open. Please email me with corrections, updates and additions and I will try to keep it useful....
