This is an updated version of dark sky astronomical viewing sites that now includes sites certified by the International Dark Sky Association. Many sites are on open public land, some such as state/provincial parks may have entrance or overnight fees. Some host star parties on specific dates and may require advance arrangements. A few locations have restrictions or request contact before entering land. Consult related websites beforehand. As always, corrections and additions are welcomed.
