The Palm Beaches, FL - Project Discussion

Thanks for setting up this metro project area.

I will send in a few files in the next days, together with of list of topics that I wish to cover in the next few months.

3 new files are available in the Palm Beaches Metropolitain Area:

• Public Golf Courses, with phone numbers
• Hospitals, with phone numbers
• Shopping, including malls and other popular shopping areas.

For those who already downloaded those files, the name of the files has been shortened in order to better view the description on the GPSr screen, i.e.
The Palm Beaches, FL - Shopping.csv
has been changed to:
Palm Beaches FL- Shopping.csv.

More files will be coming in the next few days, i.e. AAA Offices, AAA Approved Auto Repair Facilities, and many more in the next weeks, months...

Clem, I just added a POI file to the restaurant catagory for all the Dunkin Donuts in Palm Beach County - my wife loves their coffee and her Garmin. At my office, I have been asked to provide many POI files for employees, who like myself travel throughout PBC and the east coast of Florida.

Check out the DND file, maybe you would want to add it to your project???

Thank you again for preparing the list.

I would like to get more involved and help out with these projects, but it will have to wait until after the first of the year... and then after things slow down at work.

Let me know what POIs you would be willing to work on so that we do not duplicate.

Do you live in Palm Beach County? I live in North Palm Beach County.

I can work on the Lake Worth, South Palm Beach area. I can even go further South.

I appreciate your help. All the POIs presently in The Palm Beaches Metro Area cover the whole Palm Beach County and it would be nice to keep it that way.

If you have any projects in view, then you could do the southern part of the county and I could do the northern part.
