Which measurements are you talking about?
The only units that appear in csv files, are speeds - as part of the POI Name. The units for those are chosen when you run POI-Loader.
In .gpx files, you get elevations and proximities (and others that probably don't affect most of us) - which are always metric (regardless of the POI Loader setting). The program you are using to edit/create the gpx file usually gives you an option as to which units you view it in.
Does that answer the question?

Thanks...I think I got it. Just started with GPS. I loaded some csv files and now realize I choose the distance unit when loading into my garmin. However, you mention that speed are the only units that appear in csv files are speed. I'm not sure what you mean by "as part of the POI Name"?
