Notice to Drivers

 

I found this while browing the Lowrance website.

*NOTICE TO DRIVERS IN CALIFORNIA AND MINNESOTA: State law prohibits drivers in California and Minnesota from using suction mounts on their windshields while operating motor vehicles.

While thats true.

When I do mount, I use the very lower left corner of windshield. So far, haven't had any problems.

I take it off and wipe the area when I leave the car.

Yeah, it seems to be stated as a law. However, I see many people driving around San Diego and LA daily with things on their window. Hard to say, but for sure gives a cop an excuse to pull you over if he wants to...
