RIP: 2011 Ford Escape GPS!

Thanks!!! Tried it, and it neither flashed the battery indicator, nor allowed Clock or GPS to operate... 2011 Ford Escape Limited.. No other Error codes or messages... All except Clock and Ford GPS operational..
I suspect GPS is source for clock.. And GPS Mapping says GPS is Not Connected. Garmin GPS runs Rings around Ford, and gets updates, too!!! I'd rather save the Repair $$ for a higher down payment when the time comes!! !
Gonna ask Ford Service Manager about it sometime this week, as a last gasp... A clock with Day/Night display, Battery and USB power connection ($10) has been ordered..

Not sure what you tried, but did you reprogram the car with a scanner that connects to the OBDII port and selected the battery tab and indicted a new battery was installed? Many newer cars require the computer to be re-flashed by the dealer if you replace a battery improperly. The computer needs to stay powered when replacing a battery. My car does not, but I still keep it powered during a battery replacement so it does not forget the codes.

Ford service manager confirms data for clock goes through GPS.

Also confirms $$ for repair best saved for new car. And get stick on clock.

Follow up:
Bought a digital clock whose display can be powered off USB. That resides in front of where old Ford clock used to display, but now blank. Display powered off USB, goes from key on to 12 seconds after key off.
